Last Saturday, the new uniforms for the 2024 season were delivered to the students of the GADECAMP – Escola da Inclusão Esportiva V project, which offers wheelchair basketball to 30 children and teenagers in Campinas (SP). The initiative, which has the support of Lavoro and the companies Agrobiológica and Union Agro, which belong to the Crop Care holding company, aims to improve the quality of life and motor coordination of the participants, while also promoting social inclusion.
“The Lavoro Group and its companies believe that sports are an important tool for individual and collective development, as well as providing new opportunities for the future through the discovery of talent,” says Monique Cardoso, Corporate Sustainability Manager at the Lavoro Group, the first agricultural inputs distributor in Latin America to have its shares listed on the Nasdaq, the American stock exchange.
Classes take place throughout the school year, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, until December 2024. GADECAMP is the only space in the city of Campinas that offers adapted sports exclusively for children and teenagers. For more information, visit the official event website.
