Lavoro, the first agricultural inputs distributor in Latin America to have its shares listed on the Nasdaq, the American stock exchange, has just announced its new Business Director for the Southern Cluster, André Vinicius Iezak Rupel. The executive will directly report to Rafael Villarroel, President of the Brazil Business Unit, and will be responsible for managing B2C operations, through the companies Denorpi, Deragro, Futuragro, Pitangueiras, Referência and Sollo Sul, as well as the administration, marketing, finance and operations teams distributed in the South of the Country.

With over 20 years of experience in the agricultural sector, Rupel has worked for major agribusiness players such as Syngenta, Belagrícola and Grupo Inquima. He is an agronomist, graduated from the State University of Ponta Grossa, with an MBA in Business Management from the Dom Cabral Foundation and ISE Business School.
