São Paulo, March 29, 2023 – Lavoro, the first agricultural inputs distributor in Latin America to have its shares listed on Nasdaq, has just announced Luciano Albernaz as the company’s Seeds Director. The executive will report directly to Gustavo Modenesi, Director of Strategic Planning and Marketing.
Albernaz has an extensive professional career in large companies in the agribusiness sector. He was Regional Sales Manager at Monsanto, and also worked at Rural Brasil and Agrogalaxy, where he was also responsible for the seed area.
“I take on this new challenge with great joy and gratitude to Lavoro’s leadership. The seed area has been growing exponentially within the company in recent years, and my mission, along with this highly qualified team, is to continue working consistently, delivering the best products and technologies to Brazilian farmers,” celebrates the executive.
With a degree in agronomy from Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Neto” (UNESP), Albernaz also has an MBA in Strategic Business Management from Universidade Federal do Mato Grosso (UFMT).
