Lavoro, the largest distributor of agricultural inputs in Latin America, will promote the Cine Lavoro project from June 2 to 5, 2022, in the city of Sorriso, in the state of Mato Grosso. The action has the support of the City Hall and is part of a series of cultural, sports and social initiatives that the company is supporting in 2022, with tax waiver resources via incentive laws.
The event is expected to receive an audience of 250 guests per session. Admission will be free and tickets will be distributed from 3 p.m. onwards, before the exhibitions. Each person will be able to pick up up to four tickets, each of which will entitle them to a popcorn and soda combo, ensuring an open-air cinema atmosphere and lots of fun for the whole family.
“All the initiatives that the company supports are focused on strengthening Lavoro’s relationship with the communities where it operates, promoting local social and economic development and the inclusion of vulnerable people”, explains Monique Cardoso, Sustainability Manager at Lavoro, responsible for projects related to social responsibility and the promotion of culture and sport.
The Lavoro group owns three resellers of agricultural inputs in Sorriso. In addition to Cine Lavoro, the company invested in the city’s Childhood and Adolescence Fund, and in other municipalities in Mato Grosso. In the region, the company also supports centers of the Traditional Shotokan Karate-Do project (Cuiabá and Várzea Grande) and initiatives of the Elderly Fund (Campo Verde).
