Continuing its business expansion agenda in Brazil, Lavoro, the first agricultural input distributor in Latin America to have its shares listed on the Nasdaq, the American stock exchange, has just opened a new store in Paraná, now in the municipality of Candói. The unit joins the 51 stores already operating in the state.
The retailer in Candói will also carry the banner of Deragro Distribuidora de Insumos Agrícolas, founded in 1991 in Ponta Grossa, one of the group’s companies. In the Southern Cluster (PR/SC/RS), the company is also present through the Denorpi, Futuragro, Futuragro Florestal, Realce, Plena, Casa Trevo, CATR, Sollo Sul, Dissul and Referência brands.
“The opening of another unit in Paraná is mainly aimed at local development and job creation, as well as providing a quality service for producers in the region and strengthening the Lavoro brand,” celebrates André Rupel, Head of Lavoro’s Southern Cluster.
The product portfolio includes seeds, fertilizers, specialties, biologicals and pesticides. Lavoro has more than 220 stores throughout Brazil and Colombia, and for three consecutive years has been certified by GPTW (Great Place To Work) as one of the best companies in Brazilian agribusiness to work for.
