Lavoro opens its largest store in Latin America

Lavoro, the first distributor of agricultural inputs in Latin America to have its shares listed on Nasdaq, the American stock exchange, will open, on April 27, 2023, its largest store in Latin America, in Sorriso, Mato Grosso. The space, which will carry the Impacto Insumos banner, will also serve rural producers from the cities of Feliz Natal, Nova Ubiratã, Tapurah, Vera, Nova Maringá, Itanhangá, and Ipiranga do Norte.

“We are very happy with this inauguration, which will allow us to substantially expand our visibility and operations in Sorriso and the surrounding cities. The unit is the result of the expansion of an operation that has already operated for about four years under the Lavoro and Impacto Insumos banners, the latter being very traditional in the region. With the new store, we have added two points of sale in Sorriso, that is, one with the Impacto Insumos brand and another with América Insumos,” celebrates Ruy Cunha, Lavoro’s CEO.

The unit will have a refrigerated seed warehouse for 3,000 big bags, besides a vertical stock, with capacity for more than 2.5MM liters of defensives and 500 thousand liters of specialties. The branch will also hold teams from credit, Barter, operations, Regional Management, and other support areas, giving more agility to face-to-face service.

“Our goal is to offer a complete service for the rural producer, in one place. He will not only have access to a large stock of products, but also to the available assistance and quality services. One of the differentials of this new space is our climate-controlled warehouse, which guarantees the safe storage of seeds in the store,” informs Jhonathan Costa, Director of Lavoro in the North Cluster.

The inauguration will be attended by clients, partners, and collaborators. During the event, those present will also be able to see an exclusive show by the Brazilian country music duo Henrique and Diego.
