Lavoro, the first distributor of agricultural inputs in Latin America to have its shares listed on Nasdaq, the American stock exchange, has just received, for the third consecutive year, the Great Place To Work (GPTW) certification. With this, the company consolidates itself as one of the best employer brands in Brazilian agribusiness.

About 78% of the Lavoro employees who participated in the climate survey applied by GPTW, expressed pride in working in a place that has an inclusive, respectful, and diverse organizational culture. The company reached 80 points in the final tally.

“We are very happy to win the seal for the third year in a row. This shows that we are a reference as an employer brand in agribusiness, a sector that is growing vigorously. Furthermore, the climate surveys bring us several learnings, besides insights on how to improve our corporate actions, always thinking about the welfare of our employees”, explains Karen Ramirez, Lavoro’s Human Resources VP Director.

By analyzing the results of the climate surveys conducted by GPTW in previous years, the company developed and implemented more than 35 improvements, among them, professional development campaigns, training projects, monthly HR newsletters and B-Day Free, special anniversary days off, and the creation of employee retention and engagement plans.

“Throughout its six years of existence, Lavoro has been understanding the needs of its more than 3,000 employees. Receiving the Great Place to Work certification is a recognition of the continuous efforts of our people, who are working to build a company that is increasingly fair and transparent, and that promotes, above all, equity among all,” concludes Karen.
