Lavoro announces new Chief Transformation Officer (CTO)

Lavoro, the first agricultural input distributor in Latin America to have its shares listed on the Nasdaq, the American stock exchange, announces Maurício Pagotto as the company’s Chief Transformation Officer (CTO), reporting directly to the CEO, Ruy Cunha. The executive has been at Lavoro for more than five years, where he has held leadership positions in the transformation and structuring of the business, in the implementation of results and in the acquisition plan for new companies.

Pagotto is a production engineer who graduated from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP). He began his career in strategy consulting at Bain & Co and, for more than five years, worked at Monsanto. He now leads the company’s Strategy and Business Transformation. 

“I would like to thank the leaders of Lavoro for entrusting me with this new challenge, which I take on with great enthusiasm. I’ve been with the company since the initial thesis and it’s a pleasure to be part of this new phase of the group. I want to continue contributing to the growth of the business and the appreciation of Brazilian agribusiness,” concludes the executive, who takes over the position previously held by Gustavo Modenesi, currently the company’s Head of B2B and Services.
