Lavoro, the first agricultural inputs distributor in Latin America to have its shares listed on Nasdaq, will once again be present at the Business and Technology Day – DINETEC 2024. The event will take place on January 10, 11 and 12, 2024, in Canarana, Mato Grosso This will be the tenth edition of the event, which welcomed more than 14,000 people last year, including farmers, exhibitors and the general public.
DINETEC is one of the main agricultural events in Mato Grosso, and its objective is to bring the main trends and launches for the most diverse cultures of the Brazilian agribusiness, such as soy, corn, cotton, sesame, and others. The event also has an agenda of debates and lectures, promoting reflection on innovation and technology in the field.
“DINETEC marks the opening of agro fairs in Brazil in 2024, so there is always great expectation on our part. This will be our 6th consecutive participation, and we are sure it will be another success. We expect to exceed BRL 150 million in business by 2023”, explains Jhonathan Costa, Business Director of Lavoro’s Northern Cluster.
Lavoro will have a complete stand to welcome farmers, partners and the general public, offering gifts and dynamics for visitors. DINETEC will also be the stage for the official launch of the Soja Certa 2.0 campaign, which aims to negotiate inputs for the 24/25 cycle with available or future soybeans, through Barter contracts. Transactions can be carried out in the Financial – Easy Exchange and Physical with Target Operation modalities, with special conditions for all customers until May 30, 2024.
“Barter campaigns have already become traditional at Lavoro, and many producers have already joined this business model. It’s a great way to achieve a good profit margin, even when commodity prices fluctuate,” says Marcos Oliveira, Director of Commodities Operations at Lavoro.
“The Midwest is an extremely important region for us, since we have a very strong presence in Mato Grosso, and our goal is to further strengthen our relationship with local customers. Taking part in DINETEC is a great opportunity to bring the region’s producers the best business opportunities of the year,” Costa concludes.
